Ten Penny Gypsy is honored to be among the final top five nominees in three categories for the 2018 Arkansas Country Music Awards: "Album of the Year", "Americana/Roots Artist of the Year", and "Vocal Group of the Year". Winners will be announced at the ACMA awards ceremony on June 4th at the University Theater in Little Rock, AR. The evening's festivities will be hosted by country music superstar and Arkansas native Collin Raye.

Ten Penny Gypsy's self-titled debut, a 2018 Arkansas Country Music Association nominee for "Album of the Year", was recorded and produced by longtime Neil Young bandmate Anthony Crawford. It includes eleven finely-crafted songs, all sweetly harmonic, but with a dose of Americana swagger. Recorded at Admiral Bean Studio, Loxley, Alabama. Mastered by Juno Award-winning engineer Jamie Sitar at Outta Town Sound, Manitoba, Canada. Release date: August 25, 2017.

Recording our debut album...
Live Aid, Farm Aid, Austin City Limits, Jonathan Demme's "Heart of Gold" documentary - just a few of my recollections of Anthony Crawford front and center, on stage with Neil Young throughout the years. For Laura and I to have the opportunity to enlist Anthony's expertise, and witness his passion for our project - it's been a life-altering experience for us!
